Step 1: Create your account<>

To use GetGPT, you need to create an account. Here are the steps to create your account:

Go to the GetGPT website (www.getgpt.app) and click on the "Sign Up" button located at the top right corner of the page.

Choose the signup method that works best for you. You can sign up using your Google or your email address, or with a magic link.

If you choose to sign up with your email, enter your email address and create a password. If you choose the magic link option, enter your email address and click on "Send Magic Link". You will receive an email with a link to log in to your account.

After filling in your details, click on the "Sign Up" button to complete the registration process.

Once you have created your account, you can log in to your account anytime by using the same login method you chose during signup.

Step 2: Log in and create a new project

Now that you have signed up for a GetGPT account, you can start creating your own app.

Click on the "Create New Project" button located on the top left corner of the screen.

You will be presented with two options: start from a blank page or use a pre-filled template. Choose the option that suits you best.

Once you have selected your preferred option, a new project will be created, and you will be redirected to the editor page of your project.

The left side of the screen is dedicated to the preview of your app, while the right side of the page is dedicated to the control panel. Here, you can customize the settings for your app, such as the name and description.

Step 3: Customize your project settings

Once you are on the editor page, look for the section called "General" on the control panel, which is located on the right side of the screen.

In the "General" section, you will see the fields to fill in the name and description for your app. This is how users will identify and understand your app.

You can also add custom design elements to your app by choosing a custom emoji or uploading your own image file. This will help your app stand out and look unique.

Make sure to save your settings before moving on to the next step.

Step 4: Configure the main logic

Now we will move on to the main logic section, which is the most important part of creating your app. Be noted that the more detailed and specific your prompts are, the better quality your app will be.

Navigate to the next tab called "Main Logic".

Here, you can add custom fields to collect input from users. There are four different types of inputs available: short text, long paragraph, single selection, and multi-selection.

To add more input fields, click the "Add Field" button.

Use the custom field names to write your own logic on the prompt line. To do this, type "@" in the editor, and the input fields you created earlier will automatically appear.

When an input field is written with the @ symbol and changed to blue text, it will be replaced with user input when the app is run.

Step 5: Save and share your app

After configuring the settings, you can go to the "Advanced Settings" tab if you want to customize the design of your app, such as the background color and button name.

Once you're satisfied with your app settings, click on the "Save" and “Publish” button to save your changes and publish your app.

After the app is published, you will be provided with a link to share with others.

Simply click on the link to access and use the app you just created.
